LinkedIn Ads that reach your buying committee and are judged on opportunities
LinkedIn is expensive per click, so it only earns its place when it reaches the right accounts and turns into pipeline. I build campaigns around your target account list and the roles involved in buying, then measure them against opportunities in HubSpot or Salesforce. That makes the cost defensible to a CFO in a way cost per lead never is.
What I review
- Targeting: company lists, job titles, seniority, functions and audience expansion settings
- Matched audiences, including uploaded account lists, contact lists and website retargeting
- Insight Tag, Conversions API setup and which conversions campaigns optimise towards
- Campaign objectives and bidding: manual, cost cap or maximum delivery
- Lead gen form questions, hidden fields and how leads reach the CRM
- Frequency and reach across the target account list
- Creative formats in use and their engagement and conversion rates
What I manage and optimise
- Account-based campaigns built from your ICP and target account lists
- Thought Leader Ads using posts from your founders and subject experts
- Document Ads for gated reports and guides, with lead capture where it fits
- Lead gen forms versus landing pages, tested on lead quality, not volume
- Conversions API and CRM sync so qualified leads feed back into optimisation
- Frequency and audience size management to avoid burning out small lists
- Retargeting of engaged accounts and website visitors with mid-funnel content
What you get
- Weekly update on spend, reach into target accounts and actions taken
- Monthly report on cost per qualified lead, opportunity and pipeline from the CRM
- Account penetration view: which target accounts are being reached and engaging
- Creative and format test log with clear outcomes
Not included
- Organic LinkedIn content and community management
- Design and video production, though I write the creative briefs
- Custom ABM dashboards and data integrations, which are handled by Ad Ops Autopilot
Pricing
Retainers start from £3,500 a month for one channel at an early-stage company, as a flat monthly fee rather than a percentage of spend. Media spend is paid directly to LinkedIn, and the agreement is 30-day rolling with no exit fees.
How pricing worksLinkedIn Ads Management: common questions
More in the FAQs.
Is LinkedIn worth the cost per click?
It can be, if you sell to a defined set of companies and roles and your deal values support it. Judged on cost per lead it often looks poor, so I report it on cost per opportunity and pipeline from your CRM. If it still does not stack up on those numbers, I will tell you.
Lead gen forms or landing pages?
Lead gen forms usually produce more leads at a lower cost, but quality can be weaker because submitting is so easy. Landing pages add friction that can filter for intent. I test both and judge them on how many leads become qualified opportunities.
What are Thought Leader Ads?
They let you promote posts from individual people, such as your founder or a subject expert, rather than only the company page. They often feel less like advertising to the audience. They work best when the person already posts useful content regularly.
How do you connect LinkedIn to our CRM?
Lead gen form leads can sync into HubSpot or Salesforce, and LinkedIn's Conversions API can send qualified stages back to the platform. That lets campaigns optimise towards leads your sales team accepts. I work with whoever owns your CRM to map the fields and stages correctly.
